You’d think that I’d learn. I cooked in Greenwood SC for about 4 years in a row, always doing poorly compared to what I was doing in other states. I finally quit going for that reason. But this contest looked like so much fun, and they had such a great payout at $30,000, it was too hard to pass up. Even if it was in SC. Well things haven’t changed for me. My flavor profiles still do not satisfy the judges up there, usually just one per table. Regardless, it was a lot of fun up in SC. Maybe some day I’ll figure out what it is that they want.
