Killer B’s wins Sam’s Club

Good friend Jim Burg from Evans GA was rushed to a hospital from a BBQ contest almost 4 weeks ago with what turned out to be major pancreas issues. It happened out of nowhere. He is still in the hospital, trying to turn the corner and begin recovery. It has been very slow at best with lots of challenges.

To try to help out financially a little, I am going to give away a seat to my upcoming June Q School to someone randomly selected from a list of donors. This is not a raffle, because PayPal doesn’t allow raffles. So I will collect forty (40) donations of $25 each. After all the donations have been made I will blindly draw a donor’s name and that person will be invited to my class for free, as a thank you for helping Jim and Jan. I will mail a $1,000 check to Jim and Jan on behalf of everyone who donated. And a huge thank you to everyone else who makes a donation to help these great people. God Bless!

  1. I met Jim and Jan at a BBQ competition in Charleston ,SC. (Smoke at the Harbor) .I am a judge for the SBN ( Southern Barbeque Network ). The Killer B’s won that competition , along with several others that were judged by SBN that year. I am praying that he has a speedy recovery… I know he is missed on the BBQ field. If my name is selected… I am going to give this awesome opportunity to my WONDERFUL husband ( who is also a SBN judge, and amateur BBQ cook.) for our 33 wedding anniversary which is the 19th of June. Hey, either way… I am a winner… I am helping out Jim and Jan… and I will be PRAYING for Both of them and the doctors caring for him. God bless you for thinking of this…
