Back in March I hosted my first competition-style barbecue class. I held it in north FL near the Suwannee River and we had a blast. Twenty five people from as far away as TX came to learn, and I showed them everything I know about competing over the two days. I covered everything from selecting the right meats right on up through building turn in boxes.

I had solicited the help of some rub and sauce manufacturing friends, and was able to provide samples to all from the following: 3 Eyz BBQ, BBQr’s Delight, Billy Bones BBQ,
Butcher’s BBQ, Butt Rub,
Dizzy Pig, Head Country, HomeBBQ.com, Pork Pullin Plowboys, Rib Stars, The Slabs, and Spicewine Ironworks . A huge shout out to them for their support!

I hope to hold another class in the near future, so stay tuned for details. If you think you may be interested, shoot me an email so I can keep you updated.
