WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL OF $1,000 FOR THE KIDS, THANK YOU!!

I am giving up a seat for my Q School Nov. 5-6 being held in Winter Haven, FL behind the Boy’s Club on beautiful Lake Cannon.

Click the PayPal link below to make a donation of $25 or more for the Winter Haven Citrus Center Boys and Girls Clubs. They have been our charity of choice for many years, because we see first-hand the goodness they bring to local kids in need. Each $25 donation will earn you a chance in a drawing for a free seat in my class which is valued at $500. My goal is to hit $1,000 for the kids. Each entry will have a 1 in 40 chance of winning. I will have a live Facebook drawing (Rub Bagby) and notify the winner. I will give a check for 100% of money donated to our Citrus Center Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs, and Swamp Boys will cover the PayPal fees. If you enter and don’t win, up to $50 of your donation to the Club can be deducted from your entry fee. It’s a win-win! Thanks for helping the kids and good luck!

Mark your calendar, make plans, call the sitter. Swamp Boys Q School is set for the first Saturday and Sunday in November.

Join me for this 2 day class, where you will learn the art and science of barbecue. This class is great for any level of experience – from the first time backyarder, to the seasoned competitor. I will share all of the techniques and tips I have learned over the past 18 years of competing, teaching you how to make the best food in the neighborhood or for the judges. Also I will be sharing recipes that have helped me win over 110 Championships.

We will cover both hot and fast, and low and slow styles. This techniques and methods class is NOT specific to any one cooker, it is adaptable for all.

Class will be held behind the Citrus Center Boys and Girls Club located at 2400 Havendale Blvd, Winter Haven FL. There will be a CCTV setup so everyone sees everything easily.

Class begins at noon on Saturday and goes until dinner time when you are treated to a smoked prime rib meal with all of the fixin’s. Afterwards you can shoot the breeze around the campfire, or retire for the night. RV’s and campers welcome with a $30 hookup fee (benefits Boys and Girls Club). Sunday morning we start back at 7:30 and there will be pastries and coffee. You will also get to sample chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket on Sunday – no one goes hungry! Class typically ends around 3-3:30pm or when all the questions have been answered.

After 2 long years of no classes, we are happy to report that there is a Swamp Boys Q School scheduled for Feb. 12-13, 2022.

Join us for this 2 day class, where you will learn the art and science of barbecue. This class is great for any level of experience – from the first time backyarder, to the seasoned competitor. Swamp Boys feels strongly about being a good community member. For nearly the past 5 years we have put the majority of our charity efforts into helping our local Boys & Girls Club here in Winter Haven. And it’s time to do it again.

I am soliciting donations for our Citrus Center Boys and Girls Club here in Winter Haven by giving away a seat to my BBQ Class, Swamp Boys Q School. My next class is being held Jan. 4-5, ’20, but the winner can redeem it for any class in the future. Perfect for all levels, from the backyarder to the seasoned pro. You will learn how to smoke prime rib, chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket exactly like I do at a competition. We will cover both hot and fast, and low and slow styles. This techniques class is NOT specific to any one cooker, it works for all.
