Here’s what they are saying about the first class:

“Taking your class absolutely improved our scores and my wife and I couldn’t be happier….Thanks again for offering your time and experience to teaching others to perfect the Art of BBQ.  It was well worth the money spent.” Greg P, FL

“Just wanted to let you know that your school shed a lot of light on different cooking technics. I cooked in my first contest since the school,Dade City. I got three calls, chicken 9th, brisket 8th and pork 7th, my best finishes yet.”  Doug B, FL

“All and all it was a kick ass class.  Would definitely take it again.” Jon W, FL

“Annette and I enjoyed your class tremendously, and learned a lot…” Gerry B, FL

“Loved the class have been telling everyone I see how great it was, if you decide to have another in FL I have several students lined up for you.” Greg B, FL

“I have to say I really enjoyed the class and I met some great people that I hope to meet again when I start cooking FBA and KCBS.” Alec C, Texas

“I can definitely say that Rub’s class was well worth the money for us. We have competed in 4 FBA contests since Rub’s class and have 1 grand, 2 reserves and 5 category wins to show for it. We learned a great amount from Rub and took a stockpile of notes. He was very detailed and wanted to make sure every question was answered…” Chad W, FL

I know this class helped me out a lot. I have been to three competitions since I took the class and have walked at all three to include a 1st place ribs…Well worth it if you are struggling a little. Larry G, Texas

Awesome class and first rate all the way. I’m still trying to unscramble my pages and pages of notes. 24 hrs of non-stop bbq info. Believe me, there were a lot more than 1 or 2 “Ahhhhhhhh, so THAT’s how they do it!” moments. I’ve got some great information now but if I don’t progress, it’s nobody’s fault but the man in the mirror. Frank O, AL

Back in March I hosted my first competition-style barbecue class. I held it in north FL near the Suwannee River and we had a blast. Twenty five people from as far away as TX came to learn, and I showed them everything I know about competing over the two days. I covered everything from selecting the right meats right on up through building turn in boxes.

I had solicited the help of some rub and sauce manufacturing friends, and was able to provide samples to all from the following: 3 Eyz BBQ, BBQr’s Delight, Billy Bones BBQ,
Butcher’s BBQ, Butt Rub,
Dizzy Pig, Head Country, HomeBBQ.com, Pork Pullin Plowboys, Rib Stars, The Slabs, and Spicewine Ironworks . A huge shout out to them for their support!

I hope to hold another class in the near future, so stay tuned for details. If you think you may be interested, shoot me an email so I can keep you updated.
